The Program Description includes an introduction to the Program, eligibility requirements, size and allowable uses of funding, the process for awarding funds, fund recipient obligations and requirements, a step-by-step guide to participation, and contact and other relevant information.

The Technology Overview provides background information about diesel particulate filters. The Tips for Installation section has important information for school districts that are working on installing filters on their school buses. Step 1: Submit Expression of Interest Form (deadline was November 12, 2004)

Clean Buses for Kids Expression of Interest

Interested parties were required to complete an Expression of Interest Form and submit it to the Program by November 12, 2004. All forms were checked for eligibility and entered into a lottery. The lottery determined which entities had funding reserved for their use and were invited to submit applications.

Step 2: Submit Funding Application (when invited by the Program Administrator)

Applicants for all projects for which funding is reserved are invited to submit a Funding Application. Funding is contingent on the submission of an approved application.

Clean Buses for Kids Funding Agreement

The Funding Agreement is the contract between the School District and the Program Administrator. The approved Funding Application and the Program Description are both attachments to the Funding Agreement.
