The Clean Buses for Kids Program received more than 600 Expressions of Interest for grant funding by the November 12, 2004 deadline. Using a lottery, 62 eligible entities were invited to apply to receive funding in December 2004. Other eligible entities were put on a waiting list. Since December 2004, other school districts have been invited to apply off the waiting list. If additional funding becomes available, school districts on the waiting list will be notified of funding availability.
